Catyleen Co is a leading firm in of industrial agriculture field; we specialize in the production, sale of corn cob. The company launched in 1950s, its main activities were milling all over Egypt. Then the company started the complementary processes for milling the corn cobs, and using its flour in the production of animal feed.

In 1970s, we found hard and resistant vegetable granules in selected milled cubes, which can be used as abrasive pellets to polish metal surfaces.

Therefore immediately used by specialized companies in the production of small metal objects, tubs, galvanized materials and more. Today they are produced in a variety forms, and used according to required type of work, and the object shape.
Besides corn cob, our company produces other kinds of vegetable abrasives such as walnut shell granules, which are distinguished by polishing in a short period of time, but with lower absorption capacity.

During the 1970s, corn cob granules were used as vegetable waste, which use to covering the floor under pets such as rodents, birds and reptiles, its most important characteristic is the high ability to liquids retention, and free of chemical additives and a neutral pH (4.7), which consider more comfort and health for pets.
